Hospitality Ministry

Mission Statement: Practice Hospitality.  Romans 12:13(b)

A brown bag luncheon meeting is the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 A.M.

The Ministry of Hospitality at Pine Street is dynamic and multi-faceted.   A hot meal is served each Sunday to nourish the body. Through Grace, in excess of 4,000 meals are served each year to the homeless, the bereaved, the unemployed, shut-ins, the sick, and to the church family.  We exist to serve the least, the last, and the lost of this world and our community.

We Love, because Christ first Loved us.  That Love is expressed through action.  At public events we give water, snacks, worship materials, and provide a place of rest.  We  Pray with anyone who responds to our posted signs for offered Prayer at all public outreach events.  Our church building is open for comfort station usage during major public events.  Hospitality permeates everything we are and do here.

Hospitality is Love.  Love is what we do here at Pine Street.  We welcome you, as Christ welcomed us, to experience God’s limitless Love and Grace expressed through Hospitality at Pine Street Lutheran Church.
